2010台灣工藝競賽創新設計組首獎作品。利用木材與餅乾顏色相近的趣味所發展出餅乾造型板凳，餅乾造型令人懷念起小時候牛奶餅的滋味。

Utilizing wood’s beautiful natural color that is similar as delicious cookies’, even’s cookie stool ‘The Flavor of Memory’ is the classic and celebrated handcrafted work. The childish cookie-shaped stool makes people recall the taste of milky cookies in childhood, simple but sincere, just like even’s handcraft style.

Even’s signature handcrafted cookie stool is made of extremely fine recycled Taiwan Cypress with special fragrance spread out. In order to present the texture and stories of the valuable material, the nail holes and wormholes in wood are retained on the cookie stool, thus making each exclusive work unique and significant.

Even assembled this stool in a traditional way of wood joinery, which made the stool durable in use of a high quality, no matter its strength, flexibility, or toughness. That is the best way to show even’s love and respect for the environment. ‘The Flavor of Memory’ received the first prize of Taiwan Craft Award in 2010.

The follow-up new version of ‘The Flavor of Memory’ was also launched, which is a lower, cuter and more economical cookie stool made of beech.

Imagine that you could climb above the cloud as childhood dreams. Before the journey, hanging clothes, books, and all your belongings along the ladder. With precious recycled material Taiwan Cypress and smooth texture of the cloud, hope this exclusive work could make artwork immerse in your everyday life.

This work ‘Cloud’ was inspired by the Japanese manga ‘Doraemon’, a popular manga series from my childhood. The robotic cat Doraemon’s pocket always has some gadgets to make things work better and beyond imagination. I vividly remember there was a Doraemon’s gadget featured in cloud that can make your own cloud and cozily lay on it. How fantastic! Years later, I made my own cloud, a handcrafted wood rack to fulfill my childhood daydream.

對天空的想像-烏雲
其實我是個很倒霉的人，
常常覺得是不是有一朵烏雲在我正上方的天空，
於是想把烏雲罩頂加上可能被雷劈情境用具體的作品表現出來，
真的做出來後就覺得“其實也還好嘛”
“倒霉也蠻好笑的呀“
觸控式的閃電燈也是小時候的遊戲發想而來，
『閃電ＤＤ』即是even對壞心情的幽默以對。

The ‘Cloudy Light’ is a exquisite wireless touch wall LED lamp. With precious recycled material Taiwan Cypress and smooth texture of the cloud and lightning, it is also a distinctive stylish elegant home decoration. The ‘Cloudy Light’ is universal voltage, and rechargeable batteries are inside it.

This work ‘Cloudy Light’ comes from even’s bad luck. For so many years I believe not many people have had as much bad luck as I have. I wonder if there are always dark clouds on the top of my head, and plus a flash of lightning even worse. This gave me an idea to embody my misfortune by creating the ‘Cloudy Light’. After a time-consuming process the work completed, I felt relieved and found it is not that bad as I thought. It turns out to be amusing in a way, and that is even’s humor to get rid of a bad mood.

The handcrafted ‘Clothes Tree’ is made of fine recycled Taiwan Cypress. It is not only a useful coat rack but also a neat home decoration. In order to present the texture and stories of the old recycled material, the nail holes and wormholes in wood are retained on the product, which makes the work unique and significant.

Keeping even’s faith in protecting the environment, with every handcrafted work accomplished, a newly plant tree grows on earth. I once brought a sapling back to even’s studio, and its roots were covered with a lump of earth. The shape is just like a baby's perfectly round bottom. I remembered I even made a diaper for the sapling. The sapling in the diaper was too innocent to know about the way of the world. It was the lovely image that gave me inspiration to create the ‘Clothes Tree’. In addition, the branches of the ‘Clothes Tree’ are also curvy and perfectly round like the cactus style in the cartoon. However, they are extremely smooth to the touch, and this attentive design can keep you and your clothes from harming.

‘Rabbits for Experiment’ is an ironic work against animal testing. With precious recycled material Taiwan Cypress and its unique wood grain, this work is excessively cute but paradoxical indeed.

The idea of the ‘Rabbits for Experiment’ originated from a cruel animal experimentation photo of the news. We human beings boast that we are the soul of the universe and the wisest of all creatures. However, we do make endless demands on nature, and being unfriendly to animals and the environment. Hidden under the adorable rabbit faces are human's selfish and evil. This work is full of innuendo while using the hooks means using animals.

The work 'Magician’s Rabbit' is a stylish wood jar, which you can hide an engagement ring inside and nobody can say ‘no' to this cute guy. With fine recycled material Taiwan Cypress of the rabbit and its special design inside, 'Magician’s Rabbit' can also be a secret jewelry box to protect your most valued pieces in a magic way.
